Each person who loves games has their favourites. But not all games are addicting games - even those considered classics, like Monopoly. I am a die-hard fan of addicting games - those that you will stay up playing till the tiny hours of the morning, or those that get worn out from so much use.

My selections for the 5 most addicting games in history would possibly not be yours, but if you have not played them in awhile, give them a try - you could be agreeably surprised! Board Games Of the classics, Scrabble will always be in my top 10. I like words, and though I had never make it to the Scrabble championships, I am getting gigantic satisfaction out of coming up with clever words. Occasionally the tiles just won't cooperate, but I have been known to sacrifice points for the sheer pleasure of placing a clever word on the board. It is a big challenge, but one that is a comprehensive hoot! Another truly addicting game is named Treatment . It is one of those unique board games you want to play with folks you know - or folk you would like to begin to know a lot better! Each player has their own couch, and each player has to answer minutiae questions about different life stages that are based on mental research. He or she needs to forecast how you'd answer a personality query.

If your answers match, you are out of treatment, if they do not, you've got to stay for another session. It's both hilarious and insightful! Card Games I find many varieties of card games addictive - from hearts to rummy to pinochle - but as far as specialty card games go, I could choose Uno each time. My folks basically has a much-anticipated Uno contest each 4th of July. I love the way coalitions quickly change, relying on who is on the edge of going out, and the total despondency you are feeling when you have a fistful of cards. My 2nd choice of specialty card game would be Uno's cousin, Skip-Bo. It is a great kid's game for everyone, since anyone that can count up to twelve can play it. It has been great watching it dawn on my boy that there's a tactic to the game, and seeing him hold back cards so that he could play a bigger number of cards in his next turn.

When we are going to my sister's house to go to, we all play for hours at a time. Other Games and Puzzles I haven't included any computer games or jigsaw puzzles in my private list of the most addicting games ever, but they very well could be included in your list. Whatever your private favorites, but all means, play often and play well!
